Masonry Restoration

Preserving the historical and architectural integrity of all types of masonry including brick, limestone, granite and terra cotta. Conditions that contribute to the deterioration of masonry structures can be attributed to age, moisture, neglect, deferred maintenance as well as pollutants.

The Masonry Restoration category includes:
  • Pressure Washing - The use of a restoration cleaner and pressure wash to restore the surface to its original condition.
  • Brick, Stone and Terra Cotta Replacement
  • Tuckpointing - The process of filling in cutout or defective mortar joints with fresh mortar.
  • Caulking - The process of using a resilient material made of latex, oil, asphalt, butyl rubber or silicone to seal joints and cracks. The caulk adheres to the surface and remains flexible to allow for the movement of adjoining surfaces.
  • Waterproofing - To apply material that resists the flow of moisture.
